More salad items, lots of red leaf lettuce. Broccoli and cauliflower in good supply, but less than last week. Apples will be available, but not for sale, donation only. For those who didn't read last weeks letter, these were harvested in October, put into cold storage, and the orchard removed, so I don't have them on my certificate, so donations only or we will be outside of the state of CA and their genius regulation. Apples will be on the trailer.
I am trying to get out the door to see Centenial vs. Stockdale for the Valley soccer title. Golden Valley will be playing Dinuba as well for the D3 title.
We planted a few trees this week, a few over 6000. Hoping for the Kern Delta East-side canal to flow water soon, so that we can get growing well. Water rights begin March 15, and someday I hope they will be extended through the fall.
Have a good evening. You know what to do tomorrow morning!
